Melanie's Laundromat - Terms of Service Agreement


This Terms of Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Melanie's Laundromat ("Melanie's," "we," or "us") and the customer ("you" or "customer"). This Agreement governs your use of Melanie's Laundromat services, including but not limited to self-service, wash and fold, and business services. By using our services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.

1. Services and Payment:
a. **Self Service:** Melanie's Laundromat provides self-service laundry facilities where customers can independently wash and dry their clothes. Our attendants are available for assistance, and the use of machines is subject to posted guidelines.

b. **Wash and Fold:** With our Wash and Fold service, customers can drop off their clothes for professional laundering. Charges are based on the weight of the laundry, and fees are communicated at the time of drop-off. Melanie's Laundromat reserves the right to refuse service for items deemed inappropriate or requiring special care.

c. **Business Services:** Business Services include the washing of uniforms, towels, blankets, and other business-related items. Pickup and delivery are available exclusively for businesses, with a minimum order requirement of $50. Pricing for Business Services is determined based on the volume and type of items.

2. Customer Responsibilities:
a. Customers using self-service facilities are responsible for adhering to posted guidelines, using equipment appropriately, and promptly addressing any issues to on-site attendants.

b. For Wash and Fold services, customers are responsible for providing items for laundering and collecting them within a reasonable time frame upon completion. Melanie's Laundromat is not responsible for items left unclaimed.

c. Business customers must ensure that items for commercial laundering meet safety and care guidelines. Melanie's Laundromat is not liable for damages resulting from inadequate preparation or improper packaging.

3. Payments and Refunds:
a. Payment for self-service and Wash and Fold services is due at the time of service. Business Services may be invoiced with payment terms agreed upon in advance.

b. Refunds are only provided for services not rendered or in cases of documented dissatisfaction. Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of service completion.

4. Liability:
a. Melanie's Laundromat is not responsible for damage to items that are not suitable for standard laundering, including those with special care requirements.

b. While we take every precaution to ensure the security of items left on the premises, customers are advised not to leave valuables unattended.

5. Privacy:
a. Melanie's Laundromat respects customer privacy and will not disclose personal information to third parties without consent, except as required by law.

6. Changes to Terms:
a. Melanie's Laundromat reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time. Customers will be notified of any changes, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of the revised terms.

By using Melanie's Laundromat services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our services.
